What is the different between manufacturer Warranty & Guarantee?

manufacturer Warranty...
...is a voluntary service provided by many manufacturers. The settlement takes place directly and quickly between the buyer and the manufacturer.

If damage occurs during the warranty period, the manufacturer will take care of it free of charge. Because it is an additional promise by the manufacturer, the scope of a warranty varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Tips for quick processing: You can find the manufacturer's contact details on the packaging of your product, in the instructions or in the warranty certificate. In addition, you will find many contact details in our online returns [LINK]  under "Warranty / Guarantee". If you have any questions, please contact us via our contact page[LINK].

Guarantee...
... is a legally defined claim of the customer against the seller. The seller must prove to the customer that he handed over his goods without defects.

However, this does not apply for the entire warranty period, but only for the first six months or, for products purchased as of 01.01.2022, the first 12 months. After that, the burden of proof is reversed and the customer must prove to the seller that a defect already existed or was present when the purchased object was handed over.

The warranty period is 2 years.
For entrepreneurs: If the customer acts as an entrepreneur, the warranty period is one year from receipt of the goods.
